What is a .PNG file?
The Portable Network Graphics (PNG) format was designed to replace the older and simpler GIF format and, to some extent, the much more complex TIFF format. For the Web, PNG really has three main advantages over GIF: alpha channels (variable transparency), gamma correction (cross-platform control of image brightness), and two-dimensional interlacing (a method of progressive display). PNG also compresses better than GIF in almost every case, but the difference is generally only around 5% to 25%, not a large enough factor to encourage folks to switch on that basis alone. One GIF feature that PNG does not try to reproduce is multiple-image support, especially animations; PNG was and is intended to be a single-image format only.

Why is the text smaller in IE?
If the text on our site seems to look smaller on IE, then it might be that your browser is not set up properly. To set it properly, go to the VIEW option on your IE browser and select TEXT SIZE and then select MEDIUM or the size you would like to use. You can also push and hold the CTRL button on your keyboard and scroll with your mouse.

How can I import a photoshop template to dreamweaver?
Its not just that simple to import a template created in Photoshop to dreamweaver, but i have thought of a simple work around. For dreamweaver to recognize and imported firework template, it first of all reads the header of a html page looking for this code Fireworks MX 2004 Dreamweaver MX 2004 target. Created Sat Jan 17 17:03:40 GMT+0100 2004 If not found then dreamweaver will pop up an error that the file is not a good format. Now, a file imported from photoshop does not have this code in the header, so importing it using the FIREWORKS HTML button will end up giving the wrong format error. The work around to this problem is to copy the above code in BOLD, and paste it anywhere between the and of your imported HTML file and save it. Now in dreamweaver just click the FIREWORKS HTML button and import the photoshop file. Dreamweaver will now recognize it as an imported fireworks file and will just accept it.
